David is a 30+ year IT
veteran, who fully understands the relationship between business and
technology. His experience covers the gamut of computing platforms from large
mainframes with extensive data networks to Web based applications. He has
worked in a variety
of business environments from Social Services and Investment Banking to
Advertising.
Most recently, David formed Click IT
Solutions and was the Chief Architect behind the TVB's ePort project, which is
revolutionizing the way in which Spot TV advertising is being bought and sold.
At the same time, he is providing technology guidance to the MPA (Magazine
Publishers of America) and their e-business project.
Prior to forming Click IT, David was the
Chief Information Officer at Katz Media, the largest independent Television and
Radio representative firm in the United States. He worked there for 10
years, during which time he oversaw the creation of an extensive computing
platform which helped to provide the company with greater operational efficiency and strategic benefits.
David came to the US in 1984, where he
worked on a project to provide a new Welfare system for New York City. The
system which went live during the mid-80s is still in use today. He
subsequently joined the New York State Department of Social Services, where he
headed up the Bureau for Technology Innovation.
David started his IT career in London,
England, working for a Facilities Management company which provided services to
one of London's largest commercial banks. During his tenure there, he
introduced new technology solutions including the creation of a Laser
Printing Bureau and Inventory Management software based upon micro technology.
